
We’re excited to share that the Family Support Organization of Passaic County (FSO-PC) is hiring Family Support Partners (Full-Time & Part-Time Bilingual Spanish) to help empower families navigating the challenges of raising a child with emotional, behavioral, intellectual/developmental, or substance use needs.
We believe that parents with lived experience are the best advocates for others, and we’re looking for individuals who have navigated these challenges and are ready to support, guide, and uplift other parents and caregivers in Passaic County.

About the Role:
Full-Time Family Support Partner
Part-Time Bilingual (English/Spanish) Family Support Partner
Key Responsibilities Include:
Building relationships with families and offering support.
Helping parents navigate services like school IEPs, mental health support, child welfare, and more.
Empowering parents to be strong self-advocates.
Connecting families with resources and services.
Documenting and maintaining communication records.
Traveling throughout Passaic County to meet families in their communities.
Qualifications:
Must be a parent, guardian, or caregiver with personal experience supporting a child with emotional, behavioral, intellectual/developmental, or substance use challenges.
For the part-time role, bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Basic computer skills (email, documentation).
High school diploma or GED required.
A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
